Fears & Phobias
Are you scared of spiders… Does the sight of one leave you trembling and sweating…with overwhelming feelings of losing control. You know this is irrational, but somehow you cannot control your fear.
Does the thought of planning your next holiday fill you with so much dread because you have to get on that flight… Does your heart pound, leave you sweating and your throat feel like it is closing in on you.

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind; people are often surprised that they hear every word and could get up and walk out of the room at any moment. Unless you enter a deeper state, you may not seem any different, just very relaxed. Most people are surprised at just how relaxing it is.
Hypnosis is very safe and depends upon your willingness to be receptive and responsive to suggestions given to you. Hypnosis will not make you do anything that you do not want to do. You are always in control. Hypnosis is a means of enhancing mind and body control.
During hypnosis you are in complete control of what you choose to reveal or conceal. Therefore you will not reveal to the hypnotherapist any secrets that you do not wish to share.
Many phobias exist in our subconscious and are learned responses. This makes them particularly vulnerable to hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy can help you unlearn the fear response, build up your exposure to the phobia and in time ease the associated anxiety.
