Hello! I’m Amanda Pearce

I am the creator and founder of Amanda Pearce Hypnotherapy and CBT Melbourne.

I am also a highly experienced Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapist (CBT) and Occupational Therapist (OT). Having worked in a broad range of fields, my areas of expertise include the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia, depression and anxiety disorders, including; panic disorders; obsessive compulsive disorder; generalised anxiety disorder and social anxiety. 

My experience has been both in the physical and mental health sectors, including hospital and community settings. I ran a CBT clinic in the UK, and have worked as a drug and alcohol counsellor. 

Dealing with the emotional turbulence of anxiety, depression or an eating disorder is a constant and often overwhelming battle. I can help you get your life back in a short time frame whether this is by working through emotional issues that are holding you back or breaking through self-sabotage that is getting in your way, I am committed to ensure my clients reach their true potential.

More recently I happened to stumble upon neurolinguistics (NLP) and hypnotherapy. This completely transformed my life, so, I decided to immerse myself into learning everything I could about Hypnosis and NLP.

I am certified as an NLP Trainer by Drs Tad and Adriana James and a member in good standing of the American Board of Neuro Linguistics Programming (NLP). In addition to this I have extended my skill set to include Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy. 

I have a diploma in clinical hypnotherapy and am registered with the Australian Hypnotherapy Association, and I am a master of neurolinguistics.

I have helped countless people achieve personal empowerment in as little as five sessions through using hypnotherapy and NLP. I can help you with; quitting smoking, weight-loss, the elimination of destructive habits, negative emotions and limiting beliefs and much more.

I am committed to sharing my knowledge and ‘helping to keep the trap door open by teaching certified NLP and Hypnosis practitioner and master practitioner courses.
